DURATEC SURFACING PRIMER - A high quality polyester surface primer, usually sprayed on, that provides outstanding filling and leveling properties for many substrates. Excellent adhesion is achieved with fiberglass, metal, wood, pressboard, concrete, and polyurethane foam. Duratec surface primer offers a rapid coat build-up for master mold surfacing and is excellent for fiberglass tooling repair as it accepts tooling gel coat. Use surfacing primer for wet sanding to obtain a high gloss finish. Product is available by the gallon or 5 gallon.

Gel Time: Sample based on a 100 g mass, catalyzed at 2 percent with mekP - 16-18 min.

Coverage per Gallon: 10 mil thickness - 110-115 ft. sq. ; 250 micron thickness - 10.2-10.7 m. sq.

NOTE: Can be reduced up to 10% with MEK.
