DURATEC VINYL ESTER PRIMER - A high quality primer for manufacturing applications and a surface coating for mold surfacing and resurfacing. Use Duratec Vinyl Ester Primer for vacuum infusion molding for polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy laminated parts and open molding for marine parts. Also used for mold manufacturing as a tooling gelcoat replacement and for rapid mold restoration and repair. An easy sanding porosity free hi-build primer formulated to spray, roll or brush onto composite surfaces. It is the final component of Duratec's osmosis/blister repair system. Product is sold by the gallon. 4 per case.

Gel Time: Sample based on a 100 g mass catalyzed at 2 percent with mekP - 18-22 min.

Volatile Organic Compounds: White - 160 g/L ; Gray - 143 g/L.

Coverage per Gallon: 10 mil wet film thickness - 100-115 ft. sq. ; 250 micron wet film thickness - 10.2-10.7 m. sq.

NOTE: If rolling, always use a Phenolic Cored Solvent Resistant foam roller. We recomend using Corona's Foam Slicker Rollers.
