MARITIME BLACK TEAK DECK CAULK 10 OZ. TUBE PN# MWP-B - Maritime Teak Deck Caulk is a one-part, neutral curing, silicone adhesive sealant specially formulated for caulking teak decks. It has outstanding adhesion to teak and other naturally oily woods and requires no primer when used as directed. The caulk cures when exposed to moisture in the air to form a tough, flexible, solid rubber seal that has excellent temperature stability and resistance to chemicals, sunlight, UV and water. It is non-corrosive to all substrates and can be sanded when cured. Maritime Teak Deck Caulk is easy to use. It has a paste-like consistency that guns and tools easily. A special vacuumizing process removes virtually all air from the caulk to eliminate voids and bubbles. It will stick to any properly prepared surface and to itself, simplifying any application. Maritime Teak Deck Caulk skins over and cures rapidly. The caulk forms a tack-free skin in 15-20 minutes. A freshly caulked deck is safe to walk on the next day and can be sanded in as little as 24 hours after application - longer where temperature and humidity are low. Full cure (maximum adhesion) is achieved in approximately 14 days. Product is sold by the 10 oz. tube. 12 tubes per case.
