PETTIT FIBERGLASS DEWAXER - Prior to any surface preparation, all bare fiberglass must be thoroughly washed to remove mold release waxes used in manufacture. 95 Fiberglass Dewaxer is a special blend of solvents, formulated to cut through and remove mold release, grease, and previously applied waxes from the gelcoat. Liberally wash the surface to be painted with clean rags, changing the rags frequently to prevent merely smearing around the waxes. Run water over the hull to check if all wax has been removed. Can be used above and below the waterline. Product is sold by the each. 6 quarts per case.
