3M Marine Adhesive / Sealant Fast Cure 5200

Description

3M 5200 FAST CURE ADHESIVE / SEALANT – A faster curing version of 3M Marine Adhesive/Sealant 5200. The high performance polyurethane becomes tack free in 1 hour and fully cures in approximately 24 hours. The seal is extremely strong, retains its strength above or below the water line. Stays flexible – allows for structural movement. Stress caused by shock, vibration, swelling or shrinking is effectively absorbed. This product can handle these bonding and sealing jobs: fiberglass deck to fiberglass hull, wood to fiberglass, portholes and deck fittings, motors on fiberglass transoms, under moldings, hull seams above and below water line. Center board trunk joints. May also be used, between struts and planking, in stern joints, on deck housing, etc. Has excellent resistance to weathering and saltwater. Product color is White and is sold by the 3 oz. and 10 oz. tubes.

3M™ Adhesive Sealant 5200 Fast Cure is for permanent assembly of wood and fiberglass parts bonded together. If a non-permanent bond is desired, use 3M™ Marine Adhesive Sealant 4200.
